At Vinceremos Therapeutic Horsemanship Center, volunteers are an essential part of everything we do. Whether you're helping care for our horses, supporting riders during lessons, assisting in the office, or volunteering at special events, your time and talents help create meaningful experiences for individuals with disabilities and special needs.
No horse experience is required—just a willingness to learn, serve, and be part of a caring community.

There are 2 quick steps to complete your registration into our volunteer program:
Step 1: Create Your Volunteer Profile:
Complete the registration form below to receive access to our Volunteer Portal.
Once submitted, you will receive an email with instructions for creating your volunteer profile and completing the enrollment process.
Step 2: Attend a Volunteer Orientation:
All volunteers must attend an orientation before beginning service.
During orientation, you will learn about:
- Vinceremos programs and mission
- Volunteer roles and responsibilities
- Safety procedures
- Horse handling basics
- Next steps for becoming an active volunteer

Volunteer Opportunities
Lesson Volunteers
Support participants during Adaptive Riding, Hippotherapy, and other equine-assisted programs.
Responsibilities may include:
- Leading horses during lessons
- Side-walking alongside participants
- Assisting instructors and therapists
- Helping ensure participant safety
No previous horse experience is required. Training is provided.
Horse Care & Barn Support
Help care for our horses and maintain a safe, welcoming environment.
Responsibilities may include:
- Grooming horses
- Filling water buckets
- Cleaning stalls and paddocks
- Organizing tack and equipment
- General barn chores
Office & Administrative Support
Assist with behind-the-scenes work that keeps our programs running smoothly.
Responsibilities may include:
- Filing and data entry
- Phone coverage
- Mailings and administrative projects
- Database and records organization
Events & Fundraising
Support community outreach and fundraising activities throughout the year.
Examples include:
- Benefit auctions
- Community events
- Awareness campaigns
- Special Olympics activities
- Seasonal programs and celebrations
Corporate & Community Groups

Volunteer Requirements
To volunteer at Vinceremos, applicants must:
- Be at least 12 years of age
- Attend a Volunteer Orientation
- Complete all required enrollment forms
- Follow the policies outlined in the Volunteer Handbook
Those interested in volunteering are required to download and sign the following handbook.
