On Friday night, under the lights and excitement of competition, something truly special happened, something that reflects the very heart of the Vinceremos community.
Tinne Vilhelmsen claimed victory at the Lövsta Future Challenge, but what followed was even more meaningful than the win itself.
Rather than simply celebrating her success, Tinne chose to make a lasting impact by donating her $6,000 winnings to support Vinceremos and its upcoming summer programming for children in foster care.

A Shared Commitment to Our Riders
The Lövsta Future Challenge has always represented more than sport. It celebrates the powerful connection between horse and rider, and the responsibility the equestrian community shares to give back.
This year, that commitment was brought to life in a meaningful way. “The Lövsta Future Challenge is about more than just sport; it’s about the impact we leave behind,” shared Tinne. “We are honored to see our success in the arena supporting programs like Vinceremos. The work being done here changes lives, and we are proud to help ensure these experiences remain accessible to the children who need them most.”
The driving force behind the challenge is the remarkable vision and support of Antonia Ax:son Johnson, whose passion for equestrian sport and excellence has helped elevate it on a global stage. Through her world class breeding and training facility, Lövsta Stud, she has created a hub for top tier dressage development, combining cutting edge horsemanship with a deep respect for the welfare of the horse. Her commitment not only fuels the success of elite riders and horses but also ensures that events like this challenge are rooted in quality, integrity, and a forward thinking approach to the sport.
Why This Matters

At Vinceremos Therapeutic Horsemanship Center, horses are more than partners, they are catalysts for growth, confidence, and connection.
For children with physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges, equine-assisted programs provide opportunities that extend far beyond the arena. Through their time with our horses, riders develop:
- Confidence
- Strength and coordination
- Emotional connection
- Independence
Most importantly, they experience joy, accomplishment, and a sense of possibility.
Looking Ahead: Summer Horsemanship Camp
Thanks in part to this generous donation, Vinceremos is preparing for its upcoming Summer Horsemanship Camp, with additional details to be announced soon.
Designed for children ages 8–16, the camp offers a structured and supportive environment where participants can engage in hands-on learning and build meaningful connections with horses.
Camp activities will include:
- Horseback riding and instruction
- Horse grooming and bathing
- Games and crafts
- Tack and equipment care
- Equine wellness and nutrition
- Presentations from equine professionals
Whether a rider is new to the barn or more experienced in the saddle, this one week program is designed to meet each child where they are, encouraging growth, confidence, and skill development.
All activities will take place in Vinceremos’ covered arena, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for all participants.
More Than a Moment
What took place Friday night was more than a competition result, it was a reflection of the values that define the Vinceremos community.
A commitment to giving back.
A belief in the power of connection.
A shared dedication to creating meaningful opportunities for every rider.
Vinceremos extends its sincere gratitude to Tinne Vilhelmsen, Antonia Ax:son Johnson, the Lövsta Future Challenge, and all who continue to support its mission.
Together, we are not only creating riders, we are creating confidence, connection, and brighter futures.
