Sam started riding at the very young age of three. Her love for horses was instant & growing up in the Bahamas made for a unique way to have her love grow into her passion. In 1986 Sam and her family moved to Wellington to show at the Winter Equestrian Festival and to continue her education on American soil.
In 1992 Sam changed her equestrian direction from hunters to polo taking her first grooming job at the age of 16 to work in Vermont for the summer.
By 1994, she began her high goal polo grooming career as head groom for leading polo teams, such as Coca-Cola, Michelob, Bud Light, and the Prince of Brunei. In 2011, Sam moved on to become the Assistant Polo Manager of the Palm Beach Polo Club. After a prestigious and accolade filled polo career Sam sought fulfillment through a different avenue while still including horses, ultimately leading her to Vinceremos in 2017.
